Cheryl Anne's Bead Trivets (kit)
This is an original tool design by Cheryl Anne my wife and best friend.
Your bead trivet comes wit the following items...
1 bead trivet
1 small jar of bead release
2 copper spacers
Cheryl Anne's Bead Trivets are made of Stainless Steel. They have been tested for temperatures of 1600 F.
You can use these bead trivets in a kiln or with your torch.
The bead trivets can help hold items in place while you sift enamels
and it can be used as a heating trivet or both.
** Take NOTE... IF you use it simply as a trivet to hold items in place as you shift, you DO NOT use the bead release.
HOWEVER.. IF you are planning to use this bead trivet in your kiln or with your torch, between each firing you MUST apply the bead release.

Base of trivet measures: approximately 1 1/2 inches
Stem measures: approximately 3 inches
** please note all our tools are made by hand, they are not pretty and they are not perfect, we are not machines, we are real people. However, they get the job done and they last a long time.
HOW TO USE Cheryl Anne's Bead Trivets in your kiln or with your torch.
Brush on the bead release on the top of the base and the stem.
If you want to use a copper spacer, put your spacer over the stem.
Then brush on bead release on the top rim of the copper spacer and any part of the stem that is showing.
Place your bead or object on the stem
Then fire as you normally would.
After firing let your piece cool down.
Then remove your bead or object from bead trivet.
Clean by rinsing off any fire scale with soap and water.
And your ready to go.
***between each firing you MUST apply the bead release***
HOW TO USE Cheryl Anne's Bead Trivets as a holding device as you sift enamel.
IF using your trivet simply to hold your beads or objects in place as you shift, you simply put one of the copper spacers on the stem of the bead trivet and then place your item on the stem.
Brush on your holding agent on your bead or object
Then sift your enamels, and let dry.
***if your using your bead trivet as a holding device, you don't need the bead release***
